Imperato on Cuba, Castro, and US Relations

West Palm Beach, FL – December 20, 2005 – After last week’s Caribbean Summit in Barbados, 2008 White House Hopeful Daniel Imperato issued a statement on US Relations with Castro, Cuba, and the Caribbean.

“I strongly recommend that the United States of America and its people take serious retribution of the fact that some of the closest land to our border consists of Cuba and the Caribbean. Our administration and our president, in my opinion, along with previous administrations, have been neglecting, what I feel could be one of the most important strategic parts of our very own security in the United States of America, the Caribbean islands and Cuba,” expressed Imperato.

The summit focused on health care cooperation and cultural exchanges, but a major focus was on Cuba and its thorny relationship with the United States

Imperato felt that now was the time to embrace Cuba and help them become democratic.

“I strongly suggest that our administration embrace Fidel Castro and Cuba, administer them and assist them in becoming a free society. While our government is focused all the way to Iraq, we are not even looking at our neighbor,” stated Imperato.

Just as democracy is to help our relations in the Middle East, Imperato felt that democracy could help our neighbor to the south, Cuba.

“I believe in order to breakthrough and establish stronger relations with our island neighbor, that Fidel Castro, his people, and his government, must be liberated. We the people of the United States America have a duty and obligation to support democracy in the free world. Our neighboring Cuba needs our support and I say its time that we give it,” asserted Imperato.

When Imperato becomes empowered to represent the United States he said he looks forward to “setting an example with our closest neighbor Cuba by opening relations, mending wounds, and repairing diplomatic ties with Cuba and the rest of the Caribbean.”

Also Imperato felt that the rest of the world was taking an interest in the region while we were focusing elsewhere.

“Furthermore the Caribbean and Cuba have become investment hubs for foreign nations around the globe which could very well jeopardize our security,” contended Imperato.

Additionally, Imperato felt that if the United States didn’t take action with Cuba someone else would.

“Mark my words that if we do not address the Cuban situation with Castro that Chavez will. We can’t lose this opportunity for freedom with one of our closest neighbors,” said Imperato.

DJI Sends Condolences to Prime Minister Khaleda Zia of Bangladesh and the Jarul Family

Today, 2008 US Presidential Contender Daniel “DJI” Imperato acknowledged his condolences to the people of Bangladesh for the recent terrorist attacks.

“I sent out my belated condolences to the people who’ve been affected by this terrorist attack in Bangladesh. The Bangladeshis must band together, stay strong, and collectively keep their eyes wide open for such inappropriate persons entering their country,” stated Imperato.

Imperato, “The Peoples President”, felt that this attack was only a sign of further terrorism to come in the region.

“Unfortunately I believe that this part of the world will have increased vulnerability pertaining to terrorists and their organizations entering and operating in the countries,” said Imperato.

The stronger countries, according to Imperato, should step up and play a larger role in security of the region.

“I call on the stronger countries in the region like India, Malaysia, Singapore, to utilize their strength and their wisdom to further improve the security of these vulnerable countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and neighboring countries,” expressed Imperato.

Imperato concluded his statement with the following remarks: “A specific sympathy message to the Jarul family in Bangladesh hoping they have not been affected by such an act and I am requesting the family to utilize its financial strength and wisdom to assist the government of Bangladesh in beefing up the security infrastructure and protecting their people.”

DJI Takes a Look Behind the Bush At the Clinton

Today, leading presidential candidate Daniel “DJI” Imperato, expressed his interesting views on the real explanation behind our tensions with al-Qaeda and why the United States is in Iraq.

“First of all I would like to say that we must support our president and we must allow our president the comfort to speak freely instead of having to waffle and adjust his statements on Iraq based upon the flip flopping democratic and republican political persons who are collectively unconditionally creating turbulence and insecurity throughout the world and specifically in the United States of America for the people of the US and our troops,” stated Imperato.

Today President George W. Bush experienced a four point spike in his approval ratings. This improvement has been related to his ‘Victory for Iraq’ speech and recent positive economic data.

“Now then,” said DJI, “lets get to the fact. The initial information pertaining to Bin Laden and the al–Qaeda organization was broached by our previous president Bill Clinton. Instead of taking serious matters at hand, Bill Clinton engaged in an unfortunate personal White House affair with Monica Lewinsky that was not only a disgrace to our country and our people, but was a misuse of the oval office of which the United States taxpayers pay for and allow our presidents the privilege to sit in.”

Imperato then pointed to the Afghanistan bombings that occurred after much scrutiny on his Monica Lewinsky affair.

“Clinton needed an outlet to vent his guilt and to change directions pertaining to his personal conduct. Clinton pushed the button and threw a punch by sending missiles to Afghanistan and Africa without any backup to the cause. This act in my opinion, was cowardly, knee jerking, inappropriate and should have been taken more seriously and addressed immediately instead of immediately shoving it underneath the carpet because of the Gore-Bush presidential race.”

To Imperato, it was important that America understood ‘what’s behind the bush’.

“That’s what was behind the bush and that’s what created the mess brewing for our President George W. Bush. Clinton figured Gore would pick up the pieces but unfortunately he lost the race. Thank God that Bush had won and thank God that our president stood up and launched an attack on Bin Laden and al-Qaeda immediately after the 9/11 disaster. That, in my opinion, should have been planned during the Clinton administration after Clinton foolishly sent a punch with no power. Then our President Bush had to come in with the power,” stated Imperato.

However, Imperato felt that Bush didn’t show enough power and finish the job in Afghanistan.

“While I support our President Bush on the attacks on al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, I must say that he had never finished the job properly and that the war in Afghanistan was actually not a war, but an attack on al-Qaeda supported by the globe to rid of this terrorist organization which should have been completed.”

Personal agendas, according to Imperato, were to blame for the shift of focus from Afghanistan to Iraq.

“Unfortunately, because of the Bush desire and because of the personal agenda, he swiftly jumped to Saddam Hussein in Iraq. While I supported the mission to remove Saddam the tyrant from power, it should have not been through an all out war with Iraq. In the mean time, the situation in Afghanistan is still brewing and I believe gaining strength.”

Imperato felt that the war to remove Saddam Hussein has become something far different.

“While our president and our administration is fighting with each other, the war to remove Saddam Hussein has become a war in Iraq against Zarqawi, al-Qaeda and terrorism

Recognizing the personal agenda of Bush, Imperato believes that al-Qaeda utilized this information to make a base in Iraq.

“The attacks on al-Qaeda in Afghanistan the war and removal of Saddam have turned out to be an al-Qaeda move to plant Zarqawi in an Iraqi headquarters to further the desire for the US to continue the diversion from Afghanistan and the poppy that’s growing again. The focus has now moved to the war in Iraq, the destruction of Iraqi citizens and loss of life of human beings.”

Imperato felt that the decoy of a war in Iraq is not really a war.

“This decoy was conveniently planted to support, assist, aid, and abet the Bush administration’s fight pertaining to the war in Iraq. I say we are not at war in Iraq. We now need to stop the war and cease fire and start treating the terrorists and their organizations collectively as a global society through Special Forces and intelligence. I strongly disagree with our administration and the manner in which they are now handling this situation. Again a war is normally against a country with military power and soldiers, this war in Iraq is not against a country and in my opinion is not a war.”

Under Imperato’s plan, special forces would be utilized to combat terrorism.

“What it is, and should be is defined as, is an intelligence defense mechanism and a collective special force program to combat and to fight against terror and terrorist organizations, not only in Iraq but all over the world. I believe that a cease fire, a pull back of troops, and a reestablished coalition special force team is the only way to handle this matter.”

Imperato finished his statement with the following remarks. “I call on our president George W. Bush and our administration to take my message seriously.

In the event there is any question to my intelligence knowledge and ability to be the next president for the people of the United States of America and to be a fine diplomat to represent our interests around the world, I challenge George W. Bush to call me out to test my knowledge that I’ve earned through spending the past 30 years understanding the world. The people of the United States need to be helped today so they don’t have to wait until tomorrow.”

Headline News: What is victory? Blinded By The Bush? Mark My Words

As headline news surfaced this morning, 2008 White House contender Daniel Imperato woke up to have his words echoed through the voices of politicians and media around the globe, ‘What is Victory’.

“It was great to see AOL Headline News on my computer this morning with everyone asking George Bush and our administration the quote in my press release as of yesterday, ‘What is victory?’”

Immediately after George W. Bush’s speech on Iraq yesterday, Daniel “DJI” Imperato further outlined his plan for peace in Iraq and illustrated the flaws in the Bush speech on Iraq.

Additionally, reports have surfaced this week of military controlled media in Iraq.

“With the US military paying the Iraqi press, Chalabi in my opinion being a puppet, the people of the United States must understand the Bush administration’s plan is for George W. Bush, a plan which is clear as the day is long,” said DJI.

Yesterday’s ‘policy address’, according to Imperato, outlined Bush’s plan to protect George W. Bush., not the American people.

“Time will prove that George W. Bush’s plan is to combine the withdrawal of the troops in conjunction with his departure of the White House. Our country needs to know now that our leadership’s plan pertaining to the real business at hand, which is oil.”

Family ties, according to Imperato were at the root of the Bush agenda for the rest of his presidency.

“In addition, the previous father President Bush left office with this country in great shape, until bill Clinton got a hold of it. Our president the son of George bush Sr. is in a predicament and at this point is only trying to fill the shoes of his father so that he can protect his brother Jeb in maintaining a good family name and good presidency.”

Yet amidst of bipartisan criticism of the war in Iraq, Imperato feels that neither party has gone directly to the point.

“I am offended to see the democrats and the republicans throw stones at one another and neither one of them have stood up and gone directly to the point of what I call the ultimate personal agenda.”

“George Bush has every right to try to protect his interest, his family’s name, and his job as president. But make no mistake about it, the camouflage, the mirrors, and the smokescreens being utilized in this war must be seen by the US public.”

Imperato was concerned about the ramifications of what the ‘ultimate personal agenda’ could bring to our country.

“I wish I had the opportunity to stand on the podium and to speak the truth to the people. And the truth is that the Bush personal agenda and impossible dream could end up being a financial disaster, an economic killer, and an overall expansion of instability in the region.”

Imperato concluded his statement with the following remarks: “I call on the people of the Arab world and the leaders in the Middle East to demand a cease fire. I am willing to stand up and speak out in the front of the United States and the rest of the world about my plan for Iraq, and my plan for our people, which is the plan to implement immediately.
Upon my closing days of my exploratory campaign converting to hitting the pavements and reviving America, I come to the people of the United States to say, mark my words.”

Leading Independent Presidential Contender Address Bush’s Speech on Iraq

November 30, 2005 – West Palm Beach, FL – With increasing opposition to the War in Iraq, today President George W. Bush issued a major policy address on our administration’s plan for Iraq. While he touched on several issues important to Iraq, one of 2008’s leading independent presidential contenders, Daniel “DJI” Imperato came out and further outlined his views and strategy for Iraq.

Below is a transcription of Imperato’s address.

“I would like the opportunity to thank the American people for their consideration for supporting my desire to lead our country for the people as ‘The People’s President’ should. I want to thank the international community, the media and press, for picking up my press releases and for sharing my position on many subjects including this one, Iraq. While I support our Commander in Chief, as we all should, since he is our president, I have strong comments pertaining to the press conference about Iraq and terrorism.

The first point is that I agree that a mission should not be withdrawn without a complete victory. The problem is what is victory? And how are we going to pay for it? Is victory based on killing every single radical terrorist until they stand down and stop their acts? If that’s the case, and that’s what we are calling victory, then I would like to see an oil-for-war program to pay for the cost of this war and to reimburse the American people and our country for the severe economic impact that we have endured. In addition I comment on the great subject of rebuilding Iraq.

As I have mentioned before, Iraq’s reconstruction will be implemented for a collaboration of international bidders and surely we hope that they will be American companies. I believe that this will be a tough ax to grind and believe that the Middle Eastern region will be taken over by Middle Eastern supporters for the infrastructure and reconstruction since they are more familiar with the land.

In addition who will refine the oil? Is it Saudi Arabia, so that Houston can setup the sales and distribution? Or is it a collaboration of Middle Eastern and European consortiums that will build new refineries and how long will that take? In addition I speak out to state the fact that our country and our people are suffering and that our own infrastructure needs to be developed and upgraded. America’s monies would better be spent building America’s infrastructure.

While I agree and support the elimination of terrorism and in my previous release [2008 Presidential Contender Speaks out about Murtha, Cheney, Clinton, and Colin Powell] I specifically laid out a plan of action that I believe needs to be executed and implemented as soon as possible. The biggest question that I have as your future President of the United States of America is once again is, what will I have to clean up after this long and costly process? And how far back are our own American citizens being setback?

I say my platform will be ‘Revive America’. And I say that our administration and our leadership should ask themselves a serious question and that question is, if our administration believes that they can eliminate terrorism in Iraq and they can do it in the next few years time, then why haven’t our administration and the past administrations been able to eliminate terrorism in the country of Israel? My question is that this part of the world with Hamas, Hezbollah, and other terrorist fractions are much further ahead, more organized, and deeply rooted in the region. In my opinion, eliminating the terrorists in Iraq is only a small piece to the puzzle for peace in the Middle East.

I stand for a cease fire in Iraq. I stand for direct negotiations with the terrorist organizations in the region. I am for peace, not war. The terrorist organizations in the region of Israel, Syria, and Lebanon are far more equipped, more powerful, and a greater threat than we could even imagine.

Why hasn’t the United States of America, as a so-called ally of Israel, Jordan, and Lebanon combined forces to stomp out those terrorists groups who have been in business for many years and are still in business today? I am concerned to address to the American people that Iraq could unconditionally become another conflicted region pertaining to terrorism and if and when our troops completely come home I only can say that history repeats itself.

Even Saddam Hussein and his regime at one point were allies of our nation, but then became supporters of terrorism. I strongly suggest our administration to realize that the war on terrorism is a collective war, deeply rooted in the Middle Eastern region and the greatest way to stop the terrorists is to collectively combine the entire region, including Syria and Iran, to all agree to a cease fire. Then they should setup a collective Special Forces program to stomp out any and all terrorists groups and any and all supporters of terrorism.

In addition, the coalition of the Middle East led by the Arab league needs to setup a serious public relations campaign to reach out for the very people who are being persuaded, bribed, and bought to become terrorists. This press conference by our President George W. Bush is long overdue but the problem is he’s only addressing the situation at hand and not the actual plan of ending the loss of life for our troops and the stopping of the bleeding of the billions of dollars that are being spent of American taxpayers money to maybe, one day, wish hope and pray that the Iraqi government will be able to contain and control their own country.

I point out to say that I believe the confusion, animosity, and civil unrest in the Middle East will continue to grow, as it has in the past. After all, the problems exist around the citizens of the region and it has a lot to do with education and hatred amongst the very Arab nations themselves. I call on the Arab league to take a stronger role once again. And I call out on our president to come up with a plan of action and not just a speech. Thank you very much, and God Bless America.”

Sharon’s Game of Ping Pong Wastes US Taxpayer Money; Imperato Speaks Out

November 22, 2005 – West Palm Beach, FL – In a landmark press conference, 2008 Presidential Contender, Daniel Imperato, criticized Ariel Sharon for poor leadership and a lack of dedication towards peace.

“I call on Ariel Sharon and his leadership to stop waffling in the line of fire and to stand firm as a supporter of peace in the region. I will stand out and say that I am very disturbed at the Israeli government and their policy and I am wondering if the government lead by Ariel Sharon is not a leadership of true peace,” stated Imperato.

While Sharon has conceded land and granted passage, Sharon has not expressed to his people a need for peace and harmony amongst Israelis and Palestinians.

Additionally, Sharon has made way for terrorist organizations such as Hamas to not only cross over to the West Bank, but have also paved the way for Hamas to participate in the upcoming elections.

This term was part of the so-called ‘landmark deal’ that US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice brokered with Ariel Sharon.

“When I become the leader of the United States and its people I will draw the line in the sand and not take an unnecessary spotlight for a lackluster achievement such as Condoleezza Rice and her so-called great achievement of passage,” asserted Imperato.

What Imperato felt was adding insult to failure was the fact that the Israeli/Palestinian situation is costing American taxpayers billions of dollars per year.

“I stand up for the American people to say that it’s about time that we truly evaluate our stance and financial input behind the Israeli policy and the country of Israel. I believe the United States has been in a ping pong match and is the ball being pinged and ponged. It is time that the United States stands up, and stops the game of ping pong that is continuing to milk billions of dollars from the American people paying taxes.”

Imperato suggested that the leaders were using the mere suggestion of peace as a way to keep the influx of US dollars into the region.

Imperato finished his statement with these powerful remarks, “I call out for the leadership of Israel to show the region and the rest of the world that its time for true peace, and to stop playing games and showing mixed emotions pertaining to its country and its stance. Ariel Sharon, its time you look in the mirror and evaluate your waffling and come to a conclusion to stand firm, draw a line in the sand, and work collectively with the United States and the rest of the world in promoting peace, specifically in your region. “

Bostonian Presidential Contender Daniel Imperato Mourns Kennedy on Anniversary

November 22, 2005 – West Palm Beach, FL – Today, in a somber tone, Daniel Imperato expressed his deep sympathy’s for the Kennedy family and our country who 32 years ago lost a great father, brother, uncle, and leader.

“I would like to take the opportunity to reach out for the Kennedy Family with special prayer and deepest sadness for the loss in Dallas in 1963 of President John F. Kennedy,” expressed Imperato.

Imperato grew up on Boston’s west end and admired the Kennedy family growing up.

“As a child, John Kennedy was a role model for me and many others. My aspirations and interests to bid for the presidency largely began in my young Bostonian days of the Kennedy leadership,” remarked Imperato.

Based upon the legacy of bold leadership established by Kennedy, Imperato wanted to continue that tradition.

“When I take the position in the Oval Office as the late John Kennedy did, I will be committed to a presidency no less than my hero as a young man,” said Imperato.

Imperato then concluded his statement with the following request, “I ask the United States and its people to take a moment of silence today in recognition and sympathy for one of the latest and greatest leaders of all time, John F. Kennedy.”

Imperato Speaks Out About WMD and Supposed Bush Lies

November 14, 2005 – West Palm Beach, FL – Tonight Daniel Imperato spoke out about the recent stream of press regarding whether or not President George W. Bush lied about our intelligence and Iraq possessing Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs).

“This is an absolute outrage. Our country and our people have no clue as to what has gone on in the Middle East pertaining to this situation,” stated Imperato.

Imperato has been turned off by some of the recent rhetoric used by US politicians to taint the integrity of our administration by raising these uninformed questions.

“Furthermore, some of the United States Senators and politicians are stretching the facts so much, they remind me of Gumby. Our President Bush obviously had a mission to accomplish left by his dad, but please don’t mistake this child’s endeavors as lies. The fact remains that the people in the Middle East that are my friends all know that Saddam Hussein housed Weapons of Mass Destruction and had plans to use them,” said Imperato.

What the American people have failed to realize, according to Imperato, was that the weapons were there but the intelligence made it to the attention of our president and the global community far too late.

Imperato went on to state that “unfortunately, our intelligence didn’t make it to our leaders in real time. The information went through channels and showed up late. Make no mistake about it, Saddam Hussein had the weapons and moved them out faster than we moved in.”

Imperato Calls on Lula of Brazil to Maintain Good Relations with US

November 14, 2005 – West Palm Beach, FL – Today, 2008 Presidential Contender, Daniel Imperato calls on President Lula of Brazil to maintain good relations with the United States and vice versa.

“While Brazil has a great opportunity to blossom and be a prosperous country it also has a serious difficulty pertaining to poverty and education. The job and the task of being president of Brazil is not an easy one. While Brazil and its leadership recognize the positive benefits of free trade it also has its reservations for clear reasons,” stated Imperato.

Last week, President George W. Bush met with President Lula Ignacio da Silva, in Brazil in order to discuss free trade and other pertinent US/Brazil issues.

The meeting was following the Americas Summit which ended with no clear agreement for a free trade zone

Imperato stressed that the United States has not done enough to cooperate with its South American partners.

“In my opinion our administration and past administrations, have completely ignored our neighbors in South America who are more important to the United States than others because we are the western hemisphere, connected by land, diverse in culture, with massive natural resources, and the ability to increase manufacturing and productivity from the northern stretches of Canada to the most southern points of Chile,” asserted Imperato.

According to Imperato, combining US strength with that of our South American counterparts, who are making it difficult for US manufacturing to compete on price and wages, could improve the whole region in regards to manufacturing

“I have a plan pertaining to unionized labor and collaboration between the Americas to stabilize wages to increase manufacturing and create more jobs. I can assure you that when my name is on the ballot to represent that people of the United States of America in 2008 this will be an issue,” expressed Imperato.

Imperato, who has many years of experience doing business all over South America, particularly in Brazil, felt that the South American community has been leaning towards socialism for quite sometime now due to a lack of proper US involvement.

In addition, Imperato felt that the lack of US involvement has paved the way for South America’s strong ties with the European Union, particularly, Spain, Italy, and Germany, all of which have deep ties in the region.

Because of those ties and the lack of US involvement in the region, Imperato suggested that South America might be more favorable towards setting up a free trade agreement with the EU.

“While I see clearly that Europe has their hands deeper in the roots of our neighboring South America and that South America would be more interested in free trade with Europe because of the understanding of culture, the mutual respect between cultures, and the basic philosophy of European Society which differs immensely from the United States and the culture of its people,” said Imperato.

Additionally, Imperato also recognized the huge surge of investment in the region from countries like China, Japan, and Korea.

Imperato also recognized the turning over of the Panama Canal as a turning point in the devolution of US relations in the region. He felt that the turning over of the canal opened the door for the influx of investment from Asia Pacific.

Imperato finished his statement with the following remarks, “Working with our neighbors, we can achieve equality, proper wages, education, and a mutually beneficial trade balance that’s accepted by all parties concerned. These are deeply-rooted, serious issues that unconditionally need a man of the world who understands the difference between meat and potatoes of American culture and the European culture of caviar and fine wine. I believe that there is an opportunity here to capitalize for all parties concerned and I hope that one day the people of the United States of America will give me the opportunity to represent our country in the interest of the country and also our neighbors in South America.”

Imperato on Panama Canal and South American Relations

November 14, 2005 – West Palm Beach, FL – Today, Daniel Imperato issued a statement on Panama and South American Relations.

“The greatest loss that our country has ever had, in my opinion, pertaining to South America, is the loss of control of the Panama Canal,” stated Imperato.

Imperato referred to the Panama Canal as the ‘gateway into South America’ for import and export.

He also stressed the need for our administration to have someone that understands Panama.

“Being that I’ve spent time in Panama and worked with companies in the free trade zone, I understand clearly the facts on the zones, its country, and its political position and focal point as international gateway into South America.”

During his address, he asserted that the influence in the region has changed from American to Asia Pacific.

“The Asia-Pacific heavy investment into the Panama Canal has unconditionally given a stronghold on the flow of products coming in and out of South America. The first priority in most societies and in South America is price. In the Asia-Pacific for the moment because of their labor leniencies are able to support the low cost products.”

Prior to the strong Asia-Pacific presence in the region, Europe was the primary supplier of products that passed through the ‘Panamanian Gateway’.

Imperato felt that this presented an opportunity for the US and EU to work together to reestablish a stronger presence in the region.

“I believe there’s an opportunity here for the European Union and the United States of America to collaborate and to consider joint efforts to supply technology, equipment and education to the region. This along with the increase in manufacturing and export will assist South America in becoming a good competitor in the global environment once again.”

However Imperato was quick to point out that he did support manufacturing in the US, but stressed the need to maintain ties with our South American neighbors.

“I unconditionally support the United States of America and its people pertaining to the US jobs program and increased manufacturing in the United States. But I also know that if we don’t combat cheap labor, and utilize our neighbors to capitalize on products and services, we stand a chance to lose our South American partners to other countries who will reap the benefits of low cost products from South America.”

Imperato wanted to remind the Bush administration that we are the western hemisphere, and that if we want to be stronger we must make our neighbors stronger as well.

Then Imperato concluded his address with the following comments, “On another note we also have to address the Caribbean and the islands at a further date. The United States of America must without a doubt work fast and furious to regain respect by showing its support to its neighboring South American countries along with our intelligence agencies, our banking and finance departments, and our ability to increase the hallway of security as a joint effort across the western hemisphere.”
