Daniel Imperato Announced as First Candidate for Upcoming Presidential Debate

Boulder, 8/8/07 CO – Today Imperato for President 2008, the official campaign committee for Daniel Imperato, announced that Daniel Imperato will be the first candidate for the upcoming multi-party presidential debates.

With two major National Conventions, Colorado being a swing state, and home to one of the Presidential candidates, Colorado is the center of more attention for the upcoming 2008-election cycle than it has ever witnessed.

This is the first multi-party Presidential debate of 2008 sponsored by ASCSU and Colorado State University.

The debates will be held at the Lory Student Theatre in Fort Collins Colorado on Friday September 14th, 2007 7:30 pm

Format is question-answer, no rebuttals. The questions will come from a panel comprised of the Political Science faculty funneled through the moderator. There will be no previewing of questions by candidates, and there may also be written questions from audience members that have been pre-selected by the panel and will be read by the moderator.

Imperato for President 2008 has also booked the presidential suite at the facility and plans to make campaign appearances around Colorado during that time frame.

Major candidates from the Democratic and Republican party have been invited and are expected to attend.
