Israel and US Policy with Hamas: “What a Difference a Day Makes”

West Palm Beach, FL – January 31, 2006 – “What a Difference a day makes,” stated Daniel Imperato (www.daniel2008.com), “…yesterday the Palestinian people voted for the new democratic government and Hamas was victorious.”

In an election video Hamas claims that they succeeded with Allah’s grace to raise an ideological generation that loves death like their enemies love life. The video also stated that Hamas will not abandon the way of Jihad.

“So you see,” said Imperato, “after the Bush administration aided the PA with $400 million per year for the last five years, and the Clinton administration negotiated land for peace with the PA, it only goes to show you that the PA is an organization built on the supremacy of Yasser Arafat’s ideology of terrorist activities creating a voice in the region. The PA’s biggest problem is that their children have been educated by Hamas and other terrorist organizations. This must stop.”

Imperato wanted to know where was the strategic plan that prepared America for a scenario where aiding the PA would bring about the rise of Hamas and terrorist organizations.

“The question that I have for our administration and George W. Bush and the previous Clinton administration on behalf of the people of the is while leading the free world and leading the United States of America, Bush and Clinton, where was the intelligence, philosophy, and business savvy to see that aiding the PA with several billions of dollars has not only brought them to the point of near bankruptcy but also proves that the billions of dollars were spent inappropriately and commingled with the improvement of Hamas infrastructure in the territory.”

“Where were our leadership skills to foresee the future? They must have been lost with the foreign policy skills of the current administration and the past administration. Our administration and our leader President George W. Bush must stop the waffling. A day ago, in the year 2005, $400 million was given to the PLA. What a difference a day makes.”

While terrorists and convicted felons are not allowed to vote here in the United States, Imperato wondered why Hamas was allowed to vote in the recent elections.

“Now our president George W. Bush speaks out and states that he will not deal with or financially assist the PA with Hamas in its government. Our administration has deployed democratic techniques which are against the constitution of the United States of America pertaining to terrorists voting capabilities and forced Israel to allow Hamas to vote because of the desire of our administration to deploy so called democracy in the region.”

“What is democracy by definition of Bush’s administration? Eavesdropping, not negotiating with terrorists, or both? Our leadership has not only financed the PA and the association with Hamas, they have also allowed them to vote in a democratic manner now leading up to Hamas controlling the PA and its government.”

Additionally, Imperato pointed to the lack of foresight and planning by both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush as well as their respective administrations.

“Gee, George, where was your foresight? And hey Bill, where was your brains? The Palestinian Liberation Organization and the PLO will never come to terms with Israel and the region without education from the roots up. There needs to be banking regulations and financial controls of the distribution of funds to the PLO from the EU and the US. It’s just like the other misuse of funds from the World Bank and the United Nations. The biggest problem that the world has pertaining to the growth of organizations such as Hamas is education and access to money.”

Instead of limiting access to money to groups like Hamas, our leaders, according to Imperato, are standing on the sidelines as this type of activity goes on.

“While our President George W. Bush says that our government won’t provide funding for Hamas led PA, Ehud Olmert’s government is planning on forwarding tax money to the PA this week. The European Union blacklists Hamas in 2001, United States of America says they won’t deal with terrorists, but they’ll let them vote. I get sick to my stomach on behalf of myself and the United States of America to see such poor leadership and poor vision pertaining to the leadership of today and yesterday.”

Also, Imperato objected to us negotiating the land and fate of Israel from across the ocean.

“I stand up to tell the people of the USA that our leadership has had no vision and no qualifications pertaining the understanding of the region, which has led to an open checkbook similar to Iraq, but worse because we are negotiating the life of Israel from across the ocean.”

Concurrently, Imperato felt that the fate of the Israelis should be placed in their own hands.

“Israel needs to stand up for itself and defend itself for its own interest. 50 % of the Israelis state that Israel should negotiate and have a peaceful meeting with Hamas. The other 50% say no way. Less than 50% of Americans support our President George W. Bush and the rest don’t.

Imperato concluded his statement with the following remarks, “Our Democrat/Republican image has been tarnished, deadlocked and proven inadequate. Our president is too caught up with the Democrat/Republican scandals, bickering, and distrust for each other’s parties. Certainly our leader, President George W. Bush has not acted and implemented policy as a light for the rest of the world. Not to mention that its ok for Hamas to vote, but our prisoners in the United States are not allowed to vote. What a difference a day makes.”

Imperato on Ahamadinejad and Nukes Defense

West Palm Beach, FL – January 30, 2006 – After discovering new information on Iran’s tensions with Israel, the United States, and the rest of the world, 2008 Presidential Candidate Daniel Imperato stepped up and called for a peaceful resolution on the matter.

“The situation in Iran has heated up to, what I believe is, a dangerous level of rhetoric and inappropriate actions by and between Ahmadinejad and the rest of the world. I call on Ahmadinejad to once again realize that any type of war or friction involving his country is no good for society, no good for his people, and no good for the world,” stated Imperato.

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his government have stated that their nuclear efforts are for civilian energy purposes only.

“I ask President Ahmadinejad to be understanding and considerate to the fact that he needs to prove to the world that his nuclear desires must be only for civilian energy. The problem that the world has with the Iran and its leadership is that a nuclear weapon in the hands of the Iranians appears to be, for the region, a dangerous situation,” expressed Imperato.

What has been difficult for the world to conceive is why Iran would seriously need nuclear energy when it is already rich in natural resources.

What has been difficult for Iran to conceive is why they should stay still when the United States of America and Israel have been discussing a possible attack on Iran since 2001.

Imperato pointed out that strained US relations with Iran have only gone to further tensions.

“The world should know, and the people of the United States of America should know, that when the Iranian leader stepped into office as president he was called a killer and subsequently was exonerated but was never apologized to,” explained Imperato.

“Picking on Iran is an improper, aggressive situation that must stop by the US, its administration, and the administrations around the world. Iran is a beautiful country and has wonderful people. There are also Iranian people living all over the globe, including the United States of America,” said Imperato.

The first step that Imperato suggested was for the US to collaborate with the United Nations, El Baradei, the IAEA, and other nations to find a peaceful solution to the Iran situation, that allows Iran to utilize nuclear power but that protects the world.

Imperato also pointed out that many other countries have nuclear capabilities.

“The rest of the world has countries already who produce nuclear power who could as easily as Iran, erupt and use nuclear weapons. Although those countries are seen in the world to be stable countries, and have been accepted by the rest of the world to have credibility and restraint, it only takes one person to push a button,” stated Imperato.

Then in the most revealing part of his statement, Imperato revealed that he has viewed unconfirmed documents that reveal the United States’ true intentions with Iran.

“I bring to the attention of the people around the world to look at specific documentation pertaining to plans and actions that have been written pertaining to the potential attack on Iran by Israel and the United States. I find this information appalling. I find this information inappropriate. I believe that if any country in the world had the ability to read the information pertaining to the sites that are about to be disclosed to you clearly laying out plans of attack, I believe that any country would stand up and protect itself and its interests.”

“I call on the people of the world, the administration, and President George W. Bush to look at www.globalresearch.ca and the articles complied by Michael Chossudovsky. The documents and articles quoted by the organization looks at CIA Director Porter Goss on his mission to Ankara, Turkey, to support the clear attack by Israel at the end of March. Israel and the US have been making these plans since 2001. Look at www.globalsecurity.org, which further elaborates these plans. I urge the people of the world to take a look at this documentation which I feel is dangerous information that is directly available on the internet,” explained Imperato.

Imperato clearly stated that he has not received an official CIA briefing on these topics and has not verified all of the documents obtained by third-party organizations.

Yet, the fact that these documents and research exists only goes to show the world what type of alert that Iran is under based upon these reports.

“If I was a leader of a foreign country, and read this type of information that is readily available to the people of the world over the internet, I would immediately prepare to defend myself.”

“These articles and these documents also show that the nuclear weapons that have already been manufactured, go deep below the surface of the ground, can also be used against Russia or China. There are declassified reports stating that these nukes penetrate deep underground,” stated Imperato.

Imperato strongly suggested that the US rethink its plans with Iran, and realize that if their plans are those reflected by the above named organizations, those plans are a detriment to peace and stability around the world.

“I call on our administration and our president to try to embrace the leader of Iran and to talk to him face-to-face, man-to-man, to discuss the issues at hand and to bring about peace in front of the people of the world.”

“I am not sure if the information that I am describing to have been fully authorized or completely correct but what I do know is that the information that I have disseminated in this press release makes me very concerned. It also makes me feel that plans have been in action which is triggering a reaction from the Iranian leadership and its neighbors.”

Imperato finished his statement with the following: “I call on the leader of Iran to realize that Israel can be a good ally and bring peace stability to the region. I call on the leadership of both Israel and Iran to step up and make peace not war. I call on our administration and our President George W. Bush to second the motion to endorse the plan and to command a peaceful resolution to a problem that is getting out of hand.”

Imperato on Bashar and Syria

West Palm Beach, FL – January 30, 2006 – Today 2008 Presidential Candidate, Daniel Imperato, elaborated his position on Syria and reached out for Bashar Al-Assad.

“I stand up to call on Bashar The Son to not be confused with the issues at hand pertaining to the Iranian leadership and their capability of building a nuclear bomb,” said Imperato, referring to friendly relations with Iran, and Iran’s recent nuclear program and possible military offensive.

Imperato felt that Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad must declare that his nuclear program is for his people and not for war.

“The Iranian government must prove to the world that it is for peace and prosperity, and the leadership must prove to the world that their true intentions for their nuclear interest are for energy, and for the development of their country and their economy. It must be for the citizens and not for war,” expressed Imperato.

According to Imperato, Iran’s nuclear capabilities could create “the biggest disaster for the Middle East and for the rest of the world.”

Subsequently, Imperato wanted Bashar to stay strong and not combine the UN investigation into Syria with any other situations in the region.

“I call on Bashar to stand up as an individual, to stand tall and to confront the issues pertaining to the UN investigation on Hariri’s death and call on the world to remember that in a democracy its citizens must be innocent until proven guilty,” stated Imperato.

In light of Bashar’s young age and the huge job that he has ruling Syria, Imperato called on the United States, the United Naitons, and the rest of the free world to help Bashar create a democratic, free, and safe society for Syria.

Change, in Imperato’s view, will come over time to Syria, a country with deep historical roots.

“We all must realize that the old world in Damascus has old meaning, old principles, and old customs. And for a man like Bashar to take on the job of his father has a huge impact on his life. I call on Bashar to remember to love his neighbor, which is in this case is Israel and Lebanon. He must realize that it would be better for him and his family, his countrymen and his children, to have peace and not war,” asserted Imperato.

“Bashar, you must be strong and not be utilized as a vehicle that could create a disaster that could destroy your very own family and children through an act of any nuclear attack or war in which Syria would be involved.”

Imperato called on Bashar to be the gentleman and to reach out for the leaders of his region.

“I call on Bashar to stand tall and to call on the leadership of Israel and Palestine and combine his efforts to create more peace. I call on Bashar to stand tall with the Iranian leader to state that while he will remain an ally of his neighbor but it must be clear that Syria is not interested in any type of confrontation or participation in terrorism and or war at all,” stated Imperato.

Imperato finished his statement with the following remarks, “In the name of God, Bashar I call on you now to speak up and show the world that you mean business for peace and prosperity. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss these issues upon an official invitation by the Syrian Government. It would be a great honor and a great pleasure to represent the United States of America as a citizen and hopefully one day as the president of the United States of America.”

2008 Presidential Candidate on Rumsfeld’s Special Operations Forces

West Palm Beach, FL – January 25, 2006 – After the Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld released defense budgetary information for 2007, 2008 Presidential Candidate Daniel Imperato commented on Rumsfeld’s change of strategy in regards to Special Operations Forces.

“Over the past several months I have been requesting our administration and our government to consider the utilization of more special forces. I am happy to see the Associated Press release pertaining to Rumsfeld’s budget priorities and special operations forces,” stated Imperato.

The U.S. military plans to add nearly 8,000 troops to its elite Special Operations Forces next year to bolster America’s ability to fight terrorists and insurgents worldwide, defense officials said on Tuesday.

Imperato believes that our administration and Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld has been listening to his call for the use of Special Forces.

The plan would swell the ranks of the Special Operations Command (SOCOM), including Army Green Berets, Navy SEALs and the top-secret Delta Force, to about 60,000 troops by the end of 2007, said the officials.

Imperato felt now the US has an important bargaining chip, the reduction of US troops in Iraq.

“I stand up today to say that I believe our administration and Secretary Rumsfeld should consider an immediate global campaign utilizing the bargaining chip of the global support for the pullout of our American troops in Iraq. This will spare our soldiers lives, the lives of the coalition soldiers, and the lives of innocent Iraqi people,” expressed Imperato.

Even before 2007, Congress approved Bush’s request for an addition of more than 1,000 troops for the Special Operations Command in the current 2006 budget, including an increase in SEAL platoons.

“If I was leading the White House administration, my recommendation to the Secretary of Defense would be to contact the global array of countries, that have been alienated pertaining to the unilateral attack in Iraq and to make a deal with all of these countries. The agreement should state that we will withdraw all our troops from Iraq, if we can expand our coalition and all countries agree to allocate their Special Forces operational teams to unite and combat terror,” recommended Imperato.

This new sense of US/international optimism has been furthered by the election of a new Prime Minister in Germany, Angela Merkel, and more recently a new Prime Minister in Canada, Stephen Harper.

Imperato believes that by giving a little to the world we could gain a lot.

“I look forward to this approach being utilized and only wish that I was the one who could utilize it because I believe its time that we give a little and get a lot. The little that we give is the withdrawal of troops, the lot that we get is a greater coalition, a more significant team of special forces, which I believe will be less costly and will preserve American lives.”

“There is a tremendous opportunity for the thousands of third party candidates to have a President to run with, that man is Daniel Imperato,” commented Campbell, who is currently fielding a full slate of congressional candidates in his home state of Virginia.

Campbell, also encouraged his party, as well as other third parties, to look at Daniel Imperato for President in 2008.

Imperato on Hamas, Hezbollah, Abbas, and the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict

West Palm Beach, FL – January 25, 2006 – In today’s address, 2008 Presidential Candidate Daniel Imperato briefly outlined his stance on Hamas, Hezbollah, Abbas, and the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict.

“I once again stand for the USA and its people as well as the people of the world pertaining to peace and unity by and between all people. I call on Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to stand tall and to be firm on his actions against Hamas and Hezbollah and prevent their infiltrating the Palestinian government, administration, and way of life,” stated Imperato.

Imperato also wanted Mahmoud Abbas to know how important it was for him to denounce terrorism and terrorist organizations such as Hamas, and Hezbollah.

“I stand on Mahmoud Abbas to be a strong Palestinian leader and to demand peace and unity by and between all people in the region and to denounce openly and publicly terrorists, terrorist organizations, and anyone or any country that has to deal with funding these people and organizations that continue to cause unrest in the region,” expressed Imperato.

Imperato also added that no matter how much land was given to the Palestinians, mutual respect is the necessary ingredient for peace in the region.

“No matter how much land is given to Palestine as the Palestinian state and how many other concessions are given away there will never be peace in the region without mutual respect between the people and an educational system teaches children love and respect for your neighbor,” explained Imperato.

After the recent bombings in Northern Israel, Imperato wanted everyone to know that he believed Hamas and Hezbollah participated with al-Qaeda’s attacks.

“I come out to the American people and the people of the rest of the world, to say that I believe that Hamas and Hezbollah and other related organizations within the region have not participated in the al-Qaeda attack in northern Israel as well as Zarqawi’s attempts to enter the region. The reason for this is clear, and I hope and pay that Hamas and Hezbollah also see the writing on the wall,” asserted Imperato.

The interests of Hamas and Hezbollah, according to Imperato, were contrary to those of al-Qaeda.

“The Palestinian issue with Israel has been pertaining to a land, a culture, and a major business organization of making money through terror and weapons supplies and banking in the region. I do not believe that Hamas and Hezbollah to will participate with the al-Qaeda organization based upon the fact that their business of being terrorist organizations is based on the interests of the region pertaining to ownership of land for the Palestinian people. This is not the same as terrorists in the world against human rights and against freedom,” explained Imperato.

Imperato also called for an assessment of what is peace in the region.

“I call on the United States of America and its leadership to stop the negotiations pertaining to the Palestinian Israeli-land for peace and to reevaluate the real true meanings of peace in the region. I call on Abbas, to accept this opportunity to restructure his own administration to adhere to the future demands of the global community pertaining to peace in the region,” said Imperato.

Imperato also called on world organizations to further understand the situation.

“I call on Nigel Roberts, the World Bank representative in the West Bank and Gaza Strip who has said recently that the PA is on the verge of functional bankruptcy, to recognize the fact that the Palestinian Authority needs to improve their culture and work ethics to eliminate terrorism from their menu before they are able to achieve success,” stated Imperato.

“I also call on the World Bank, the IMF, the United Nations, and all other government bodies including the US to look at the specific difference between the al-Qaeda organization and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the terrorist organizations related to them.”

With an understanding of the organizations, Imperato stated that they will see that organizations like Bin Laden’s al-Qaeda make their money of weapons and drugs such as the poppy.

“The al-Qaeda organization has been built up by a man named Bin Laden, who was a very wealthy person to begin with, who turned his money to the poppy business and from the poppy business became a drug lord, from a drug lord became a financier, and created a global movement based upon the laundering of drug money with his initial inheritance money from his family,” explained Imperato.

Additionally, Imperato added that Bin Laden’s organization is desperately trying to establish a presence in Palestine and Israel.

“The al-Qaeda organization is out to destroy the world based upon the beliefs of their leader Bin Laden and their followers throughout the organization. This organization is actually built very differently than those that exist in Palestine. Al-Zarqawi, the decoy, is working hand-in-hand with al-Qaeda operations in Afghanistan and trying to position the organization to shake up the Palestinian-Israeli region to create war,” asserted Imperato.

Imperato felt that the world needed to utilize more strategy in dealing with the various situations in the Middle East, as well as Palestine and Israel.

“I call on the United States and the rest of the world to open up their eyes and realize that we are playing into their hands by meddling with the region and now squeezing Iran. In addition the Palestinian conflict has gone on a long time before al-Qaeda and Bin Laden decided to attack the very freedom of the world,” said Imperato.

Whereas al-Qaeda is motivated by ideology, Imperato suggested that Hamas and Hezbollah are motivated simply by money.

“The Palestinian-Israeli conflict has to do with banking and business. The Hamas Organization and the Hezbollah organization are major terrorist corporations who are living off of monies that are funneled through the banks in the region that need to be exposed and scrutinized,” explained Imperato.

“I don’t believe that these organizations agree. I believe that they are very opposite in their missions. While al-Qaeda is a business running off of poppy seeds and laundering money, becoming a threat to society, Hezbollah and Hamas are businesses and organizations that have been planned and focused in the region for many years that are based on financial rewards and backed by certain organizations, certain manufacturing companies, certain brokerage firms, who are buying and selling weapons and certain banking institutions that are allowing money to flow through this region. It must stop.”

Based upon this premise, Imperato ordered an investigation.

“I say as the next president of the United States of America, clamp down on the banking and finance sectors in the region and do evaluation of all the money flow in and out of the region and to bring to the table the reality and fact that Hamas and Hezbollah and these organizations are run by corporations and are in the business of making money and their sales tool is terror and suicide bombings. When I become president of the United States of America, one of the things that I will do is audit the banking systems in Israel and in the region to look at the actual flow of money, where the money is derived from, and also the payment to third parties contractors to determine where the weapons are coming from,” declared Imperato.

“In addition the terrorist organizations in the Palestinian conflict are driven by money and without the conflict there will be no money to support their organizations because there will be no terror which will basically close their organizations.”

Following along this path, Imperato illustrated suicide bombers as decoys for a war without ideology and only greed and money.

“So if in fact the people of Israel and the Palestinian Authority want peace then they must denounce terrorism because the terrorism being plotted by these terrorist organizations is purely a business. They are not interested in directly terrorizing the people or even having the suicide bombers to blow people up. They are using these decoys as a way to continue operating their businesses to be able to pay their people and their leadership to live off of big salaries and huge benefits,” expressed Imperato.

“I believe that there may be a plan available to the United States of America and its leadership if they would look at the fact that money is power and power is control and that control is coming from Hamas, Hezbollah, and the affiliated terrorist organizations based upon the fact that their business is fueled by terror and their salaries are paid from terror,” said Imperato.

Imperato felt that al-Qaeda has little influence in the Palestine-Israel region, and that there is only one way they can penetrate the existing organizations of Hamas and Hezbollah.

“The only way that al-Qaeda will be able to penetrate is to bring money to support Hezbollah and Hamas. The money from al-Qaeda comes from the poppy seeds, comes from the banks where the money is hidden, and has the same derivative of proceeds as Hezbollah and Hamas. Banks for al-Qaeda however, are holding monies belonging to al-Qaeda, and are allowing money to be flowed through the banking system for them. The basis of al-Qaeda’s funding is poppy. Its time we stomp out the poppy and we cut off the vein,” declared Imperato.

Imperato suggested that the United States of America must stand up and collectively organize a group of international countries that are against drugs, and that will focus on ridding the poppy seed in Afghanistan.

Once we cut Bin Ladens finances though the poppy then we could devote more attention to diplomatic discussions with Hamas and Hezbollah.

“Our president, our administration must meet with the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah to discuss a peace initiative and a financial opportunity that will actually enhance the peace process and substitute Hamas and Hezbollah’s financial rewards based upon their salesmanship of terror,” explained Imperato.

“These organizations live off of financial rewards and feed many people and many children and without them many people would be in danger. The fuel of Hezbollah and Hamas is based upon the financial rewards distributed throughout the organization similar to a corporation. So, in order to change that situation we must get control of the corporation,” asserted Imperato.

Although the US should engage in diplomatic discussions, Imperato was angered that terrorists, Hamas and Hezbollah, were given voting rights.

“Our administration and our president George W. Bush should be ashamed at themselves to think that while the constitution of the United States of America and the voting system of the United States of America, and the democracy in our country clearly states that felons do not have the right to vote in our country. Our leadership is promoting democracy in Israel when at the same time breaking the very rules of our democracy and constitution by allowing these felons and terrorists to vote,” stated Imperato.

This type of policy, according to Imperato, was representative of the US approach to foreign policy.

“This is the typical situation that is clear as day pertaining to the wishy-washy administration politics that is being played by administration. The oxymoron of democracy is so clear not only pertaining to this issue, the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict, but also pertaining to the issue in Iraq,” explained Imperato.

As he has done in the past, Imperato also called for the repayment of all monies spent by the US in Iraq.

“And furthermore, the continuance of killing soldiers and innocent Iraqis is not democracy at all. I agree with our administration that we need to assist Iraq in helping them become a successful nation. But we must do it with the rest of the world beside us because we can’t do it on our own. We must realize that time has come that we must be paid back for the $277 billion that we’ve spent and the American people must recoup back their investment in this society,” contended Imperato.

“In addition, I call on our President George Bush to stand up and to be a real leader and to sit in front of any and all prospects pertaining to unjust activities. I urge him to sit face to face with the leaders of these countries, and with the leaders of these organizations, and to confront them man-to-man, face-to-face, and to find out the exact truth of the matter instead of playing ping pong with the American taxpayers’ money,” expressed Imperato.

Imperato also called on the USA and the President to pay close attention to the destruction that they are in the process of causing pertaining to the Iran nuclear standoff situation.

“I strongly suggest our administration to stand back and use diplomatic skills to ensure peace in the region and to work closely with the UN and not to alienate them, and to work closely with the IAEA and El Baradei and not to alienate them. The US should not to take actions on its own and create its own desire to continue to deploy instability in the region,” contended Imperato.

There is a serious danger ahead pertaining to the huge continental and global divide. Our administration and our President George W. Bush are embarking on a major assault that could destroy mankind and could be the biggest act of terrorism, infecting the global community with a major economic downfall and a major worldwide separation between the United States of America and the rest of the world,” warned Imperato.

Yet through it all, Imperato wanted it to be clear that his interest is not in politics, his interest in is in being independent for the people.

“I am not here for politics; I have no role in politics. I do not care for politics. I have no sides. I am not a democrat. I am not a republican. I am an independent and I will stand in independence. I will be an independent president that will create peace, harmony, and mutual beneficial respect for all parties concerned on the globe,” commented Imperato.

Imperato finished his statement with the following remarks, “I will restore and revive the American heritage of diplomacy, good relations, and sound policy. I will revive the manufacturing sector, the jobs program, and the economic outlook of the United States of America. I stand up to state that 2007 could be the worst economic disaster in the history of our country and the history of the world and it could also be the greatest turnaround for our country. It’s all up to our administration and you George Bush to put the right cap on, and pay close attention to your ‘determination’ pertaining to the matters at hand, specifically Iran.”

Imperato on Manchin and West Virginia Coal Mining

January 23, 2006 – Today, 2008 Presidential Contender Daniel Imperato (www.daniel2008.com) spoke out about the recent tragedies that occurred in the West Virginia mines.

“My condolences go out to all of the families who have suffered casualties and loss of life because of the mine accidents. I am proud to say that I fully support Governor Joe Manchin with his sincere interest to protect his people,” stated Imperato.

Two miners trapped in a West Virginia coal mine that had caught fire were found dead on Saturday, and officials, led by Governor Joe Manchin, were also angered by 12 other mine deaths this month, and vowed to make the industry safer.

“I support Governor Joe Manchin and the people of West Virginia,” expressed Imperato. “I hope that he’s able to achieve upgrading safety measures such as communications connectivity, GPS, and oxygen units that will provide the miners additional security. These items should be provided immediately before another miner goes to work.”

In addition to those technology measures, Imperato also suggested that some mines should be shut down because of their age and natural unsafe condition.

“I would like to make one recommendation to Governor Manchin that in addition to upgrading his security measures he should also look at the age of the mines and the life of those mines,” asserted Imperato.

Concluding his statement, Imperato finished with the following remarks, “Watching Governor Joe Manchin brought tears to my eyes and made me feel as if I was one of those families. It must be an unbearable and unthinkable feeling that these families are going through. I support Joe and hope these accidents stop in the name of our God.”

Bin Laden Offers Truce: Imperato Responds

Today, 2008 US Presidential Hopeful Daniel Imperato (www.daniel2008.com) responded to Usama Bin Laden’s truce offer.

“I stand up to state and defend the interests of the United States of America and most importantly the people of our nation. While I agree with our administration and the governments around the world that we do not negotiate with terrorists in a democracy, it certainly seems to be confusing because there is negotiation going on all the time in the Palestinian region with Hamas and Hezbollah and further negations with other terrorist organizations and with other rouge states,” stated Imperato.

In light of this fact, Imperato offered up himself to negotiate a truce with Bin Laden.

“I offer up myself as a United States citizen to collaborate with the Bin Laden Organization to discuss a peaceful resolve to the ongoing disastrous situation that is at hand,” said Imperato.

One thing that Imperato pointed out in his address was the person who threw the first punch, Bill Clinton.

“I come to bring to the attention of the American people and the rest of the world that it was Bill Clinton and that administration that launched and pushed the first button against Bin Laden, while Bill was on Monica Lewinsky. Bin laden may or may not have been organizing attacks against the United States and the rest of the world, but it is true that Bill Clinton pushed the button first and Bin Laden retaliated as a defense mechanism because when somebody attacks you, you usually retaliate,” explained Imperato.

Since Bin Laden’s war against America, Imperato pointed out that Bin Laden has revealed major security deficiencies in our system.

“The message that Bin Laden has given around the world is clear. The United States of America, its government, and its policies are not impenetrable. The security of the people of the United States of America has been breached based upon the inappropriate intelligence operations within our own society and the inappropriate activities within our own political parties such as the Democrats and Republicans, who waste more money bickering and fighting with each other instead of focusing on what’s best for our country,” asserted Imperato.

Yet despite what Bin Laden has done to the people of the world, Imperato felt that we should at least here him out.

“I believe Bin Laden should be given an opportunity to discuss a truce and peaceful resolve to the everlasting destruction of humanity. I believe that in a democracy under the word of God, our leadership owes the right to Bin Laden to at least hear what his proposal is,” expressed Imperato.
Before any such meetings, Imperato made it clear that both sides should call a cease fire.

“If I was the president of the United States I would openly call for a cease fire by the Bin Laden organization and an immediate withdrawal of all terrorist activity created by any and all Bin Laden Organization people,” said Imperato.

Additionally, Imperato outlined his strategy to negotiate a truce.

“I would give a 30 day window of opportunity to listen to what Bin Laden would have to say and see if it is a sincere truce and it is really him. I would also call on the American people to allow a certain group of talented individuals to discuss the opportunity through the Bin Laden representation in the United Arab Emirates, a neutral safe haven for both parties. There would be a representative of the Bin Laden Organization in the United Arab Emirates with a representative from the US,” stated Imperato.

While most politicians deal in rhetoric, Imperato wanted it to be clear that he is serious about making peace.

“I am ready, willing, and able to be that individual to stand up to the face of Bin Laden or to anyone of his followers, advisors, or administration to see if we can come to an agreement for peace in the region,” expressed Imperato.

However, Imperato suggested that Bin Laden may not be to blame for all of the world’s terrorist activity.

“While I do not agree with what Bin Laden has done on 9/11 to the United States of America, its people, and the rest of the world with all the terrorist activities, I do believe that not all the terrorist activities of Al-Qaeda were directly related to the Bin Laden organization instructions,” asserted Imperato.

“I do believe that several factions have split and gone on to further their own terrorist activities far beyond what Bin Laden has the capability of controlling. Ever since the attack on Bin Laden by the USA, the organization has spread around the world and has cut up into individual cells making it more difficult for him to control them and making it more difficult for us to really understand whether or not he has been in power,” explained Imperato.

While Clinton was wrong to bomb Africa and Afghanistan, Imperato also pointed out that George W. Bush has not made the situation with Bin Laden any better.

“I believe that the Bush administration catapulted a terrorist attack into a major global war on terror. He has identified Iraq as a sponsor of terror and has attacked Iraq for ulterior motives. I believe that these motives must stop and that the people of the United States must know the truth,” expressed Imperato.

Due to the nature of the US relations with the rest of the world and Al-Qaeda’s presence, Imperato felt that this peace treaty could be the biggest that the world has seen.

“I call on the people to support me in my mission to meet with the representatives of the Bin Laden Organization to discuss and hear the proposals for truce. I feel that I could possibly be in the individual to be able to maintain the integrity, dignity, and cool atmosphere in order to pull off what could be the greatest peace treaty in the history of our country and the history of our world,” stated Imperato.

In order to have peace, Imperato urged people to understand why people have hate towards Americans.

“We need to identify with people who have hate for us and find out why they have hatred towards us. We need to identify with people who are trying to create the destruction of the free world so that we can educate them and work with them on teaching them why they shouldn’t,” said Imperato.

“Everybody in the world has their own opinion including myself. I think that we cannot, as a global society, live in terror and we cannot live in this situation any longer. It’s time that it stops.”

Imperato also felt that while in the Middle East, he could broker a resolution to the Iranian nuclear situation.

“In addition I would like in the same trip to the Middle East the opportunity to meet with the Iranian President and to discuss also a diplomatic peaceful relation with Iran and its nuclear program. I do believe that the president of Iran is sincerely interested in peace. I also believe that the Bush administration has surrounded Iran with in such a way that the tremble is being felt in their country and the possibility of their country being attacked is real,” explained Imperato.

Due to external pressure, according to Imperato, Iran’s President Ahmadinejad has started his own nuclear program for Iran’s security.

“I believe that the Iranian president is going to fight back just as Bin Laden did because after all we would all fight back. I ask the people of the United States of America to give me the chance to represent our country and the people in it,” stated Imperato.

Yet while Imperato could initiate the peace process himself, because of the nature and scope of the project he wanted the support the United States government and the world.

“As I know it’s a free world and it’s a democracy that we have in the United States of America. But in light of the fact of the political situation and security breach, I would only ask the authorization of the United States Government and the political people behind the posture to enable me the opportunity to proceed forward in such meeting,” explained Imperato.

Imperato concluded his statement with the following remarks, “I am ready and willing to stand up, put my life on the line, my wisdom on the table, and my ability to negotiate to show the American people and the rest of the world that I mean business about being president of this country in 2008 and not for four but only for more. I will represent the people of the United States and their best interest and I will put my life on the line to do so.”

Imperato on Nigeria, Oil, Atiku Abubakar, and President Obasanjo

West Palm Beach, FL – January 20, 2006 – After recent attacks on Nigeria’s Vice President Atiku Abubakar, 2008 United States Presidential contender, Daniel Imperato urged President Olusegun Obasanjo and the nation of Nigeria to support their democratic leader, Atiku.

“I call on the administration in Lagos, Nigeria of President Obasanjo to take a real serious look at their economy, their country, and their people. I ask President Obasanjo to take a leadership role in Africa and to show the world that he is a man of honor and integrity who stands for peace, unity, freedom, health and happiness for all of his citizens, people in the region, all around the world,” said Imperato.

For well over a decade, many experts have predicted that Africa would be the next major growth market. However due to poor infrastructure and government corruption, Africa has not enjoyed the same type of growth that other growth regions have enjoyed over the past 15 years.

“Nigeria is a very important place in the African continent,” commented Imperato, “…it is the leadership of Nigeria that can pull the African continent to the next level. Unfortunately with the corruption in Nigeria and the bad name that it has built for itself all over the world, Nigeria has been stifling itself and alienating investment for many years.”

However, Imperato felt that a concerted effort by President Obasanjo could improve the situation.

“I call on the President Obasanjo to reform his political system, adhere to rules and regulations, stomp out corruption, and work jointly with his Vice President Atiku Abubakar who has had his interest in hand for many years. I call on President Obasanjo to remember his call for the Turaki, the one who stood beside him during his political difficulty, personal troubles, and his difficult times in the county of Nigeria,” explained Imperato.

Imperato also called on Obasanjo to recognize the end of his term as president, and to support his friend and Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.

“You must stand up to face the fact that your term as President is over. In 2007 you need to support your Vice President Atiku Abubakar (Turaki) the one you called on to support your efforts to help you in your administration to embrace you as president of your country. I hope and pray that you realize that you should not alienate your friend and brother, Turaki, who should be and will be the next president of Nigeria,” expressed Imperato.

In addition, Imperato also expressed his support for Nigeria’s newest governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Charles Soludo.
“I also stand up to salute to your new governor, Charles Soludo. His appointment as governor of the CBN (Central Bank of Nigeria) has been an important step in the history of the country of Nigeria in order to reform its banking system, position itself to allow foreign investment and collaborations in the banking world, and increase its viability to stand out and play a leadership role in the continent of Africa,” asserted Imperato.

As a sign of good faith, Imperato suggested that President Obasanjo give his official endorsement to Atiku for his campaign in 2007, and his support to Soludo for his reforms.

“I support these men (Atiku, Soludo) and their mission. After studying their resumes and biographies, I believe that their hearts and souls are in the right place. I also send my deepest condolences to the Vice President Atiku Abubakar for his loss over the last days. My personal sympathy goes out for him, giving him all the support to stand tall, stay strong, and to keep on steering his country in the right direction,” said Imperato.

Imperato finished his statement with his hopes for Nigeria.

“I call on Nigeria to reevaluate their situation relating to strategic partnerships with other countries and to work strongly with the USA in the oil sector, manufacturing sector, natural resources sector, as well as the health and medical sector. Nigeria needs to abide by UN (United Nations) rules and regulations and to put policies in place that will stop the corruption.”
