Madrid, Spain & West Palm Beach, FL – Adding to his international support, Madrid based telecommunications specialist Edelmiro Lopez officially endorsed Daniel Imperato for his United States Presidential bid in 2008.
“When Daniel Imperato asked me to support him, I did not hesitate for a minute. First of all, he is the only man that can change America and correct past mistakes made both by Democrats and Republicans. These are mainly regarding US relationships with other countries and cultures and, in general, their way of developing alliances in the international field,” stated Lopez.
Lopez, who earned his Ph.D. at the University of Madrid, has over 30 years in telecommunications experience and has participated in joint ventures with, worked for, or consulted for companies such as Vivendi, Eurotelecom, Siemens, IBM, and AT&T.
From his global perspective, Lopez felt that America has not been recognized for its efforts to reconstruct Europe post World War II.
“From my European point of view, I wish to thank America for the support given to Europe during World Wars I and II. After more than 60 years of the end of World War II, I found that only a few Europeans recognize and thank the effort carried out by the USA for bringing back freedom to Europe. It is ridiculous to notice the large number of European politicians who still think they are “the world’s navel” and that they do not owe anything to anyone,” explained Lopez.
Additionally, Lopez felt that Imperato understands the key to dealing with the people of the world, respect.
“Daniel has traveled all around and I think he has friends in the last corner of the world. The main reason for having so many friends can be summarized in only one word: respect, respect for any religion, any creed and any way of living,”
The advantage of Imperato’s plan for America was, in Lopez’ opinion, its global perspective and its appeal to all groups of people, including those of Spanish decent.
“His plan looks both outside and inside the USA. As a Spaniard, I feel proud of the Spanish Collectives in America who, after years of effort, have learned how to get a place in all levels of the American Community. It is good to see how they are getting positions of higher and higher responsibility, in industry, commerce, arts and government.”
“Daniel’s plans foresee an important growth in education, social welfare and sanitary Programs. This plan will benefit not only the Spanish Community, but also the American society.”
Lopez concluded his comments with the following, “As told at the very beginning, I sincerely think that Daniel is the man that can introduce the needed changes in the US Government, in good-faith and on behalf of all of us.”
