Imperato on Bin Laden, Afghanistan, and The Poppy

January 5, 2006 – West Palm Beach, FL – Today, 2008 White House Contender, Daniel Imperato addressed the reemergence of poppy fields in Afghanistan, the relation to Osama Bin Laden, and what the United States should do about it.

“I would like to take an opportunity to address the mission in Afghanistan that has never been completed by our administration and President George Bush that was initiated by Bill Clinton. I’ve said in the past and I’ll say it again, Clinton is responsible for pushing the wrong button, at the wrong time, and the mess hasn’t been cleaned up,” stated Imperato.

According to Imperato, Osama Bin Laden’s greatest strength is his finances, and the United States must take appropriate action.

“Mark my words once again that the greatest threat is for al-Qaeda to regain its financial strength which is directly related to Uncle Poppy. I have addressed this situation in the past and I stand up for the United States and its people to demand immediate action pertaining to the war chest of Osama Bin Laden’s poppy fields,” expressed Imperato.

Recent al-Qaeda news reports have also indicated that al-Qaeda’s supposed chief in Iraq has fled the nation. Imperato has always believed Zarqawi was sent as a distraction so that Bin Laden could quietly gather strength.

“While the decoy, Zarqawi in Iraq, is in the spotlight, Osama is still on the poppy. He is probably enjoying himself immensely in a first class home buried in the mountains of Afghanistan, sitting peacefully, managing the poppy, growing the crop, and replenishing his financial war chest,” asserted Imperato.

Recently, Bush administration officials, namely Secretary of State Donald Rumsfeld have reported that they believe Osama Bin Laden is weak and may no longer be in power in the al-Qaeda organization. Yet, they still do not know his whereabouts.

Imperato believes that our administration should not be fooled.

“The facts are clear as day. Osama bin Laden, has probably never killed a United States person directly with his bare hands. The fact is Bin Laden was always the financial mastermind pertaining to the strength of the al-Qaeda organization. He was initially financed by his family inheritance then converted himself to the King of Poppy. This operation ultimately became the laundromat for weapons, and the expansion program of the al-Qaeda network,” explained Imperato.

According to Imperato, the US government has given Bin Laden too much credit for masterminding the 9/11 attacks but warned that Bin Laden may be regaining strength again.

“I do not believe that Bin Laden was in control of masterminding the ultimate plan of attack but was directly responsible for the money that was supplied behind the attacks. I stand up to say to the United States and its people and call on our administration to crush the poppy fields and get rid of the poppy. Otherwise prepare for the sleeping Head of Poppy to reappear with plenty of cash once again,” said Imperato.

The message and the strategy of Bin Laden, according to Imperato, was money and power.

“Osama Bin Laden’s message to the world is clearly a message that he claims is in line with our administration and particularly the senior Bush administration stating indirectly that it’s all about the money and the money gives the power,” stated Imperato.

Imperato then concluded his statement with the following remarks, “while I reserve myself to speak on this subject in the coming days I will shorten this message to the point. Osama Bin Laden’s bank account lies in the poppy fields and if the bank is not shut down then Osama’s message will prove once again that money is power.”

United States Presidential Contender on Bolivia, Latin America, and Socialism

January 5, 2005 – West Palm Beach, FL – Today, 2008 US Presidential Contender Daniel Imperato issued an advisory statement to the United States Government on the subject of Bolivia, Latin America, and the spread of socialism.

“I call on our administration to pay close attention to the newly elected president in Bolivia, Mr. Evo Morales, and take action to halt the direction that Bolivia may be heading towards. The people of the United States of America need to know that our South American neighbors and our Spanish brothers and sisters have been neglected by this administration and several administrations in the past,” stated Imperato.

Imperato believes that Venezuela and now Bolivia have turned towards their political course due to a lack of US support and involvement in the region.

“As president of the United States of America in 2008 I will request support from the United States and its people to strengthen relations with Latin America. I am concerned that it may be too late, but because I am a man of faith, I believe all things are possible,” expressed Imperato.

The key to improving relations in the region, according to Imperato, was through accessing the political capital maintained by the Vatican in the region.

“The United States of America, our administration, and President George W. Bush, who was not well-received by our late Pope John Paul II and the Vatican because of his war policy, must immediately access Vatican officials and the support of Pope Benedict XVI pertaining to Bolivia,” asserted Imperato.

“I call on George Bush and our administration to call on Pope Benedict XVI in Vatican city-state in Rome, to help Bolivia and to rekindle Pope John Paul II’s huge social and political accomplishments in the country of Bolivia which now maybe in great danger.”

Due to Bush administration’s lack of action regarding the growing socialism in the region, Imperato suggested that they have no clue what is going on.

“I do not believe that our administration and our President Bush have any idea of the makings, doings, and going-ons of Latin America. We are losing footage in our Caribbean islands to other interests. The Latin American countries are working collectively with those interests and are creating distance and socialistic economies that prove to be detrimental to the United States of America and its people,” stated Imperato.

“By the way with our second language being Spanish, it must be realized that the Spanish population in the United States of America hold a strong position, particularly in the areas of immigration of persons in the region that are obviously not protecting democracy,” said Imperato.

In order to protect US interest in our hemisphere, Imperato advised that our nation forge stronger ties with Cuba.

“We have to embrace Cuba and win Fidel Castro’s support. Why? Because China, is granting lines of credit to Cuba and at the same time buying up the Caribbean, specifically Grand Bahama Island and its air and seaport; the wedge here is clear as day. China wedges the Caribbean islands and the Bahamas, tilts Cuba, infects Venezuela and Bolivia and demands Taiwan,” asserted Imperato.

Imperato feared that our administration is “so focused on other issues that our country is in grave danger of losing its closest neighbors.”

Additionally, if the administration will not address the situation, Imperato offered himself to the administration to help.

“If our administration will not step up to the plate and address this situation then I offer myself to the administration to assist in this urgent matter. When I look out my window to the south I see the ocean, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Cuba, and South America being the closest threat to our society,” asserted Imperato.

According to Imperato, the most recent event to cause our lack of involvement in the region was the US relinquishment of power in the Panama Canal.

“I believe that giving up the Panama Canal was the beginning of the threat and that the United States of America and our administration have taken their eye off the ball and particularly the alienation of the Bush administration of our late Pope John Paul II’s philosophy of peace and his strength in these Latin American countries.”

Imperato finished his statement as follows, “I ask the people of the United States of America to vote for me in 2008 and to give me the chance to rekindle our neighbor’s relationships and to reestablish the force of Cathology in the region and for the US to support the principles of Christianity and the philosophy of our late Pope John Paul II astonishing intelligence.”

2008 White House Hopeful Sends Condolences to West Virginia Coal Miner Families

January 4, 2006 – West Palm Beach, FL – Following the series of events that led to the discovery of 13 coal miners in West Virginia, 2008 White House Hopeful Daniel Imperato sent his sincere condolences to the families

“First off we must focus on what is most important here. There are 13 families that are in a world of hurt and to those families I want to tell you that you have my most sincere condolences. No one can replace what you have lost today, and we can only imagine the type of pain that you are experiencing,” stated Imperato.

In the early morning hours, the 12 families of the trapped West Virginia miners “had received reports that their family members, trapped in the mines, had been rescued alive.

However, by 3 a.m. Wednesday, when only one critical condition survivor was rushed to the hospital, 12 of those families learned that their loved ones had been rescued but were not alive.

The sole survivor, Randal McCloy, 27, was in critical condition in intensive care Wednesday at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

“He suffered some collapse of one of his lungs,” said Dr. Larry Roberts. “And we’re trying to reopen that and there’s good progress there.”

Mine company chief Ben Hatfield called the situation a tragic “miscommunication”.

Upon seeing the jubilation of people rushing out of a West Virginia church with the ‘good news’ media outlets, television, newspaper, internet, and radio all reported that the mine workers had been found alive.

“Human error is something that is unavoidable. But when the information that we pass along concerns people’s lives, there is a certain degree of caution that we must use. Hopefully, everyone has learned a lesson from this unfortunate situation,” commented Imperato.

Rescue workers were working for countless hours before finding the bodies at around 11:53 pm yesterday night.

Imperato concluded his statement with the following remarks, “I want to take the time to thank the brave men and women who risked their lives to save their fellow man. I also want to thank the American people and the people around the world who have sent their prayers and well wishes for the affected families. During these times we must take a look at what is important in our lives, and be thankful for what we have, even in the face of tragedy. To the families, you have my pledge that I will make sure that your loss is not in vain, and that mines that are egregiously not up to code, and that put peoples lives in danger are no longer allowed to operate.”

Imperato Sends Condolences to China, Taiwan and Daohan Family

December 24, 2005 – West Palm Beach, FL – After learning that China’s top negotiator, Wang Daohan, died today in Shanghai, 2008 Presidential Contender Daniel Imperato reached out for China, Taiwan and the Daohan family to express his condolences.

“Today is a sad day. As we look forward to celebrating our holiday season, we must take this day to remember a great man, Wang Daohan,” stated Imperato.

Wang’s official title was president of the mainland-based Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait.

A mentor of former Communist Party chief and President Jiang Zemin, Wang was instrumental in starting rapprochement between China and Taiwan — political rivals since the end of the Chinese civil war in 1949 — in the early 1990s.

Wang’s death comes almost exactly a year after that of his Taiwan counterpart, Koo Chen-fu, who died of cancer in January at the age of 87.

Imperato concluded his remarks with the following, “Mr. Daohan was a great man who stepped outside the box, and forged ties between China and Taiwan. I send my deepest condolences to China and Taiwan, who have lost a great leader, and to his family, who have lost a great human being.”

Imperato on Losing Bin Laden & the Decoy

December 21, 2005 – West Palm Beach, FL – Amidst the reports that Osama Bin Laden is no longer the head of Al-Qaeda, Daniel Imperato (www.daniel2008.com) issued a statement on his personal views on the subject.

“I would like to address the issue of losing of Osama Bin Laden, with my fellow citizens and people of the United States of America, and to our administration. I would like to reiterate that the Clinton administration should take responsibility for inappropriately attacking Bin Laden without a plan. The Clinton Administration should take ownership of faulty intelligence, inappropriate activities within our own CIA, and most importantly, the disaster that Bill Clinton caused himself, in the Oval Office that is paid for by American taxpayers,” stated Imperato.

Imperato felt that Clinton’s method of attacking Afghanistan and then ignoring Bin Laden’s influence and plans to attack America was not the way to handle the situation.

“While I would have loved the opportunity to represent our country prior to 9/11 and while Bill Clinton was in office, I would have unconditionally addressed this man [Bin Laden] in an all-together different nature and different fashion,” expressed Imperato.

According to Imperato, the same person that we ignored before, and that we are ignoring now, might be organizing another attack.

“I come to address the American people, our administration, and the rest of the world to pay close attention to this dumb fox [Bin Laden], and realize that the mastermind behind 9/11 is masterminding 06/06/06,” asserted Imperato.

Imperato did not elaborate but stated that our government and intelligence agencies should take notice and request his help and to read between the lines and take action.

In his words, “The decoy that Bin Laden has setup is clear as the day is long.”

The decoy that Imperato was speaking of was all part of a larger Al-Qaeda plan that Imperato felt was unfolding.

“Bin Laden is far from lost and removed from the Al-Qaeda organization. It is a nice decoy to place Zarqawi in Iraq to continue to mingle and cooperate with the initial insurgency that has been attacking our troops. It’s very convenient to take the removal of Saddam Hussein and create it and shape it to be the focal point of the war on terror.”

“The decoy of Zarqawi in Iraq is a plant. The so-called war on terrorism, which in my opinion is a fight against radicals, has become centered on Iraq. The dumb fox, Bin Laden, is in his hole organizing the rest of the world’s terrorist cells utilizing Zarqawi in Iraq as a decoy.”

The Bush administration and US officials, in Imperato’s opinion, are not responding accordingly.

“While I support our President George W. Bush, I also am concerned with the blurred vision. I believe our president George W. Bush is a smart man and hopefully receiving advice from Father Bush. But I come here to stand up and say that the Bushes are not addressing many issues pertaining to this dumb fox, Bin Laden,” stated Imperato.

“Mark my words that the biggest mistake that our country, our intelligence, and the people around the world can make is to think that Bin Laden is no longer in charge. The next thing you might read is that Bin Laden is dead, and you will find out that he changed his face, and then you’ll ultimately find out he’s dug another foxhole.”

Later Imperato called on the leaders of the world to join together to prevent further harm.

“I once again reach out for the leaders of the world and their countries to demand a cease fire in Iraq, a pull back of massive troops, and a collaborative, uniform, global taskforce of Special Forces to be able to proceed with the fight against radicals. We need to fight collectively as a unified group of concerned countries and citizens that are against the terrorist activity,” expressed Imperato.

Additionally, Imperato, ‘The People’s President’, pointed out to the massive debt that the war has created.

“The idea of Bin Laden’s plan to suck in America and to have over $250 billion of debt incurred and to create an economic downturn in the American economy is exactly that dumb fox in the hole’s play,” stated Imperato.

Imperato concluded his statement with the following warning, “I stand up to state that our intelligence agencies and our administration must study the animal Bin Laden and realize that what you see and where you see it is not what you are going to get.”

2008 White House Contender Daniel Imperato on Bush’s Address

December 21, 2005 – West Palm Beach, FL – Today, 2008 Presidential Contender, Daniel Imperato spoke out on President George W. Bush’s series of public address on the war in Iraq and the war on terror.

“While we the people of the United States of America are people of passion, concern, and for the most part want to help the rest of the world, I believe the people of the United States of America are not being shown the truth of the after effects of the war in Iraq,” stated Imperato.

Bush, according to Imperato, has lowered his expectations for Iraq because of the mistakes that he’s made.

“I believe that our president has come to realize that great mistakes have been made and he’s been weaning down and weakening his stance pertaining to the grave mistakes that have been made, the miscalculations that have been made, and deploying our troops based on the misguided intelligence provided to our administration,” said Imperato.

Imperato also felt that the war on terror and the war in Iraq were two separate issues, and not the same issue as our administration has suggested.

“While the people of the United States and the rest of the world are against the war in Iraq, I believe that they do support the stamp out of terrorism. Two separate issues, two separate horses. While I know that the American people and the people of the rest of the world do not want to lose troops to the rest of the war, I do believe that the people of the world are happy to see the plan of democracy in Iraq,” asserted Imperato.

Although Imperato was happy to see last week’s election in Iraq, he still had some major problems with the way American involvement is structured in the country.

“Why should it cost the American people, the taxpayers, $250+ billion to get people to line up and vote? Of course the people would turn out to vote. It’s like a baby opening up a new toy on Christmas day, especially a toy that the baby never played with before,” expressed Imperato.

At this point, Imperato felt that the cost was not proportional to the minimal results our nation has seen in Iraq.

“It cost our country, our citizens, and our economy, $250 billion to line them up, and may cost our taxpayers another $100 billion or so, keep them doing so. While I believe that we must attack our enemies outside the United States, before they attack us, I also believe that attack on terrorism has to be a unified global coalition, and not a burden placed solely on the shoulders of American taxpayers,” said Imperato.

“Yahshua, George W. Bush,” exclaimed Imperato, “It’s great to say let’s go get them before they get us. But just think with $250 billion spent on our infrastructure, our own security, our own intelligence capabilities, upgrading our technology, airline communications capabilities, shipping and cargo inspection capability, our telecommunications infrastructure, and creating a strong a wall around our country may have been more important in the long run to protect our citizens and to protect our nation against further intrusion by any and all parties.”

Yet even though mistakes have been made in Iraq, Imperato rejected the notion of some Democratic senators that we need a complete withdrawal of US troops from Iraq.

“Yes it’s true that we cannot pullout because it might send the wrong message. As our president says, the rest of the world will see us as cowards, and the Iraqi people will feel like they’ve been left high and dry. This is true Mr. President but the fact is that the people of the United States of America cannot provide an open checkbook being spent like a drunken sailor on everybody else’s issues but our own,” asserted Imperato.

“It was you George Bush who wrote the checkbook and you George Bush that can’t afford to write checks in the matter that you have. It’s you George Bush and the $277 billion deficit. It’s you George Bush that will look like a coward by pulling out, not the American people. It’s you George Bush that I call on to curb the bleeding. It’s you George Bush that needs to take accountability for your inappropriate spending. And it’s you George Bush that needs to come up with an oil for war-and-democracy program to pay back the United States of America and its taxpayers for your open checkbook habits.”

Imperato went on to remind President Bush that “whatever comes around goes around” and that although it is “easy to write those checks, it’s very difficult to replenish the well.”

As one of Imperato’s first major policy decisions, when in office, Imperato stated that we would demand repayment of US war expenses from Iraq.

“So I stand up to tell the rest of the people, as ‘The People’s President 2008’, that my policy would be to demand an immediate agreement with the Iraqi people and government for the repayment through oil to the USA in order to show comradery and to show the American people that, like the Iraqi people, we are all human beings and we all need to be dealt with fairly.”

Imperato pointed out that we need to secure repayment for our cost incurred, and there are no guarantees that our money won’t be spent in vain.

“At this point we are on the low end of the seesaw; it’s about time that you balance the act. Not only should you address the fact that we’ve already spent $277 billion and that we need to be repaid, you unconditionally must secure the repayment of anymore spending that may create democracy in Iraq, but then again may create another Palestinian-Israeli conflict in Iraq and may utterly turn out to be a loss of some $300 billion of the American taxpayers money,” stated Imperato.

After all that has transpired in Iraq, Imperato felt ‘enough was enough’.

“While I support you George Bush as our president, but I’ve had enough of ‘Checkbook Charlie’, George, and I’ve had enough of your spending. The American people would be happy enough to help the Iraqis and we are paying the price through the loss of our troops. Isn’t that enough?”

Imperato went on to conclude his statement with the following remarks, “I also encourage you President Bush, to take serious notice of my statements, and to come up with a plan for the country to repay our debt, to pull back our troops, and to get a collaborative team of global Special Forces to deal with the fight against terrorism. And as far as the news scandal of eavesdropping I know you are listening to my phone calls everyday, I hope that you pay attention to this one.”

2008 White House Contender, Daniel Imperato On Nuclear Fuels

West Palm Beach, FL – December 20, 2005 – Today, 2008 White House Contender, Daniel Imperato address the US endorsement for the IAEA position on having Russia act as a watchdog for Iran’s nuclear program.

“I address this situation with great concern and draw the attention to our administration and their support for allowing Russia to watch over the Iranian nuclear program,” stated Imperato.

By placing Russia as a nuclear watchdog, Imperato felt that the decision carried other ramifications.

“We need to address not only the nuclear fuel cell issue, but also the pipeline issue pertaining to Russia and Germany’s planned project. I will leave my comments for a later date, but mark my words, the watch dog issue for Iran’s nuclear fuel cycle and Putin’s plan for the pipeline makes for a future plan that maybe backed by an unknown third party that could cause many difficulties in the coming years.”

According to Imperato, the US needed to work more closely with the IAEA on its watchdog program.

“When I’m elected the People’s President 2008, I will unconditionally work closely with El Baradei and will make sure that the United States of America is its own watchdog and that the United States of America participates in any and all issues pertaining to the nuclear fuel cell situation and the pipeline,” stated Imperato.

Imperato felt that a global effort was required to deal with nuclear regulations and that there needed to be oversight over the “watchdogs”.

“Specifically the nuclear fuel cell cycle program must be approached by the international community. It must be collectively governed by the international community and the workers associated with watchdog programs must be collectively assembled within the global community to actually watch the dog.”
